'As our analysis shows, a 'business as usual' approach based on our GDP
growth projections could see global warming of 6 degrees Celsius or more
in the long run', the report said.

'The UN's 2 degrees Celsius objective seems increasingly out of reach
given the lack of progress on decarbonisation since 2000', it added".

It is unclear how they reached this absurd figure. Six degrees? What is
the "long run"?

If anyone is thinking of using PWC consultants, you might want to think
twice.

Factors to consider: Arithmetic, clarity of conclusions, clarity of
objectives, basis for the claims (research).

"The latest study from the IPCC found that in the previous 15 years
temperatures had risen 0.09 degrees Fahrenheit. The average of all
models expected 0.8 degrees. So we’re seeing about 90% less temperature
rise than expected".
